Job: Quality Assurance Manager

Qualified applicant will maintain and evolve our quality program and processes. Responsibilities include:

• Manage quality assurance program to established standards
• Oversee food safety program and controls
• Coordinate testing procedures for raw materials and finished products
• Responsible for product quality throughout the production process
• Strong focus on instrument calibration
• Establish procedures and processes to meet SQF standards
• Implement quality control objectives
• Lead the development of all QA processes
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and drive corrective action when desired quality is not achieved
• Manage direct reports with an emphasis on personnel development

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience of which 3 or more years in a quality role, preferably in a manufacturing operation
• Working knowledge of HACCP and an understanding of GMP’s with experience in a food manufacturing operation
• Must be experienced in QA systems and standards
• The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills with the ability to drive and promote quality initiatives
• Must possess strong statistical knowledge
• Must be self-motivated to work with all departments to achieve desired results and the ability to evaluate processes and promote change
